Frequently asked questions

Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. Everything happens in your browser — your photos never leave your device, and nothing is stored.
How does it decide what to remove?
It samples the background colour from the image edges (and any spot you click), then removes matching pixels connected to the border — so colours inside your subject are kept. Drag the tolerance slider for more or less.
What is the difference between free and Pro?
Free exports a standard-resolution transparent PNG. Pro (All-Access) unlocks full high-resolution PNG downloads with no size cap.
What works best?
Photos with a fairly clean or solid background (products, logos, headshots on a plain wall). Busy, cluttered backgrounds are harder.
